Signing up for Membership
Our organization is registered as ‘Verein’ with Amtsgericht Berlin-Charlottenburg, Entry Nr 95 VR 22420 Nz.
The status of a ‘charitable organization’ under German law was confirmed by Finanzamt für Körperschaften I in Berlin, Steuer Nr 27/670/57126.
You can become an active or a supporting member. As an active member, you are invited to help in our daily work and you have a right to vote in the general assembly. Please, read our statutes to learn about the goals and legal foundations of our work.
The membership can be cancelled in writing 3 months before the end of a calender year.

Membership Fees
The membership fee for active members is 100 Euro per year und is due on Januar 15. The annual fee for supporting members is subject to individual agreement. Pupils and students pay 10 Euro annual fee. New members are free to decide whether they want to give a full year’s fee or a fraction corresponding to their entry date for the first year of membership.
Membership fees are tax deductible in Germany. Kindernetzwerk Sierra Leone e.V. issues donation receipts for your German tax declaration.
In order to save bank transaction costs, please, avoid any cash payments.
General Support
A person or business can can help us with any amount of money or goods donations. These donations are also tax deductible in Germany, and we we are happy to mention your contribution on our website.
